In BPM you can use the jrules Decision Service adapter under Decision Services, you will create a server environment variable of type ilog rules server (with url for decision server) and then use that in the jrules adapter, click on discover select the decision app and version and generate mappings, bind the generated variables and you have local variables to use directly or translate into your own business objects. Its very simple and straight forward.
