They are two administrative UIs of the same Process Center installation:
- Process Center console (/ProcessCenter) - the repository side: process apps and toolkits, tracks and snapshots, import / export, installing snapshots to registered Process Servers, server registration, archiving, permissions per project, opening the designer. Used by developers and release managers. On BAW 20+ it is the "Workflow Center" console; on the web designer era it also hosts the designer itself.
- Process Admin console (/ProcessAdmin) - the runtime side of the Process Center's own embedded Process Server (the playback server): installed snapshots on this server, environment variables and EPV values per snapshot, teams / participant bindings, Process Inspector (instances, tasks, tokens), Event Manager, caches, user and group management (internal registry), server settings, saved searches. The same console exists on every Process Server and is used by operations staff.
So: "where do I install / version my app" = Process Center console; "why is this instance stuck / what is the EPV value in test" = Process Admin console of that server. The two share security groups: tw_authors for Process Center (designer), tw_admins for Process Admin and full Process Center administration.
