Team retrieval service is used to populate the members of a team (earlier called Participant Group) , the retrieval can be done by any means most commonly used is from a database call. Team filer services are used to dynamically filter team members based on an input e.g. you dont want the person who did the earlier task to be member of the next assigned task you can filter out that member.
